Another Nice E-mail Scam
If anybody wishes, I am willing to assign all my rights under this great scam attempt. I don't buy the attempted validity of the e-mail by the use of a company name or the inclusion of a telephobe number - or even an e-mail that is not yahoo. Note that the reply e-mail is different thatn the originating e-mail (RDEMARSE@woh.rr.com) - althought that is a possibility in the real world but it doesa give food for second thought. I wonder where they bought my e-mail address from - although, of course, they don't have my name. So, if anybody would like to have my share of these scam funds, feel free.

Good day,
I am sorry for contacting you through this medium without a prior
notice. My name is Mr. Richard Fisher, a consultant in practice here in
Birmingham, United Kingdom. Before going into private practice I worked
as a special assistant to business man by name Mr. Johan, a contractor
based here in London now deceased. My client lost his life alongside
his wife and only child in 2004 while on vacation in Thailand (The
Tsunami Disaster).
Prior to the Death of Johan, He secured a contract of US$12,500,000.00
million from the Kingdom of Bahrain, following which he received a 30%
mobilization fee of US$3,750,000.00 Million and successfully executed
the contract, but the balance of US$8,750,000.00 Million contract
payment was in the Process of being transferred into his nominated
Account which he submitted to the Bahrain Government when he lost his
life in the Tsunami Disaster.
Two years after his sudden death, the Government resolved to effect the
transfer of the balance of his Contract Funds via one of its accredited
fiduciary company in Europe. The Fiduciary firm had been contracted to
identify the next of kin of Mr. Johan with the view of releasing the
fund to whomever as the next of kin. As his special assistant and very
close aide, I have been officially notified and instructed by the
Government of Bahrain as to this development and it further requested
my cooperation with its accredited fiduciary firm in locating the
beneficiary next of kin.
However, as his close confidant, I want you to know that Mr. Johan died
intestate, he died without leaving a Will and all my efforts to locate
any of his relatives whom I can present has proved abortive. Therefore
I am seeking for your consent to present you as the relative/next of
kin and subsequently the beneficiary of the fund so that the proceeds
of this account valued at US$8,750,000.00 million can be paid to you
based on the documentation and processes that presents you as the next
of kin.
I can assure you that this is a harmless opportunity and I can also
assure you that there won't be any breach of the law in the process as
I am familiar with the sequence and in control of the situation here.
The Government has agreed to effect the release of the funds on
provision of Mr. Johan's relation/next of kin and this has to be
strictly on my recommendation thus my contact with you since i believe
you will be able to represent in this regards. On receipt of a positive
response from you, I will furnish you with details of the transaction
and also we shall discuss the entire process, modality and benefits
