An interesting scam by e-mail

This is an interesting twist to the e-mail scams. It almost sounds legit. Of course no bona fide corporation would be sending out blanket e-mails to unknown people offering to pay them a decent salary on becoming a rep of their company. Sounds rather fishy to me. Me thinks it's another attempt to scam some people. I was able to find the same scam letter under different names and different e-mail addresses. It isan offer of a job that doesn't exist - an attempt at another scam.

If we look at the the website for Pacific Fish Processing, www.thaipro.com/z1018a/353_thailand.html, we see substantial spikes in traffic at the first of May, June, August, September and October and a minor spike at the first of July. At the other times, there was little or no traffic. I interpret that as the times that the scam e-mails were sent out.

The scammers often use the identity and in some cases the websites of legitimate companies to make their scams look more legitimate to entice people to fall for them. In some cases, scammers will make up company names so some of the business names are not legitimate at all.

Following is the latest e-mail scam I received.
